DALLAS MUSEUM OF ART – IRIS VAN HERPEN: TRANSFORMING FASHION

Experience the bold vision of one of today’s most original fashion designers with 45 exquisite outfits from 15 collections in Iris van Herpen: Transforming Fashion. Through August 20th, visitors to the Dallas Museum of Art can walk the timeline of Herpen’s dynamic work featuring unexpected materials ranging from umbrella tines to magnets, even innovative 3-D printing.

NASHER SCULPTURE CENTER – RONI HORN

Visit the Nasher Sculpture Center and travel through Roni Horn’s first U.S. museum presentation focusing specifically on her cast glass sculpture. For this show, the artist installed eight large-scale cylindrical cast glass sculptures of varying colors in the museum’s main gallery. The sculptures are infused with light, calling attention not only to their volumetric forms, but also the reflective and translucent qualities of glass. This exhibition is currently on display until August 20th.
